The Hotel Helvetia has won a certificate of excellence for customer service.

In early May, the Helvetia Hotel will become the official residence of the winners and participants of the World Figure Skating Championships 2011. The best figure skaters in the world will arrive to the Northern capital to take part in the demonstration performance in St. Petersburg.

In late 2010, the Helvetia Hotel completed a major renovation project.
